The incandescent light bulb is an electric light with a wire filament that glows when heated. It has low manufacturing costs, and works equally well on either alternating current or direct current. As a result, the incandescent bulb is the most common household light source. Neodymium glass is slightly blue, which filters out the yellow color temperature normally evident in standard incandescent bulbs.
