This halogen gas filled lamp offers a high intensity light source and longer life than standard incandescent lamps. The halogen cycle redeposits evaporated tungsten back onto the filament. This increases its life and maintains the clarity of the glass envelope. Use caution when installing halogen lamps. This halogen lamp contains a special blue-filter that blocks out unwanted light above 700nm that is perfect for dental curing applications.
