This corncob LED light bulb is used as a simple retrofit to replace existing HID, CFL and incandescent lamps. No ballast is required; simply disconnect or bypass any existing ballast before powering it up. It is a great light source for many applications: post lights, street lights, security lighting, high bay lights, designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
LED Corncob lights can be used to replace high wattage incandescent, fluorescent and HID lamps. Using Corncob LEDs will save energy and money. Corncob LEDs are easy to retrofit into existing fixtures. Simply disconnect or bypass any existing ballast before powering up. This 180W mogul screw base, cool white 4000K LED works off direct power.
