This corncob LED light bulb is used as a simple retrofit to replace existing HID, CFL and incandescent lamps. No ballast is required; simply disconnect or bypass any existing ballast before powering it up. It is a great light source for many applications: post lights, street lights, security lighting, high bay lights, designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
