What is OLED Lighting?
OLED lighting panels are composed of thin layers of organic material sandwiched between two electrodes. When DC current is applied, charge carriers from the anode and cathode are injected into the organic layers, electroluminescence occurs and visible light is emitted.
When complete, the OLED is actually thinner than a human hair!
