A Feature by Artist Annika Newell
Recently, multimedia artist Annika Newell showcased her creativity with a sculpture piece made from Aamsco light bulbs. The piece, called “Bulb Room,” is being featured in the North Gallery of Seattle’s Winston Wächter Fine Art. The room contains thousands of light bulbs from our innovative lighting solutions company and are lit in a strategic manner.
Annika Newell lives and works in Seattle. She creates sculptures that embody “the exchange of knowledge and ideas reaching a critical mass.” Her sculptures have been featured in a variety of cities, including Davis, CA; Telluride, CO; Pittsburgh, PA; Brooklyn and Chelsea, NY; and many more. These pieces tend to feature lighting elements and at Aamsco Lighting, we’re proud to be a part of her newest art piece as well as many of her other art pieces. Newell has had a long and well-developed relationship with our company.
